Get up & get excited

Days get boring and monotonous, and then we get sad because they are boring. What do you do different? Probably nothing, but that doesn't change the fact that we should. Some days it's hard to get up because of stress or lack of purpose, but we should look at each day as a blessing. We were given this day and these moments to do great things and be all that we can be. Take this moment to get excited about tomorrow and all the things you could accomplish.

Don't let stress take over your positive day either. Stress not only can give you back problems, but it can also make you lash out at your loved ones (not on purpose, of course). Something needs to change so you aren't carrying the world's problems on your back. You probably aren't blowing off enough steam--start doing yoga or going for a run. It's way better to take your stress out on the pavement then your significant other. Stop procrastinating and don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. It's a lot easier than it seems to not let stress ruin your day. This quote says it all to those who let stress take over their days:
Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles. It takes away today's peace
-Randy Armstrong

You need to get up in the mornings and think positive and not dread another day. Get excited about life. Get excited about waking up and taking on the day. Get excited about your to do list. Get excited about the little things. Days can be boring at work/school but find a way to make it exciting again-- have a picnic, take a walk (it has been beautiful outside), go on a spontaneous trip to the beach for the weekend to clear your thoughts. When life gets dull, it's your job to make it exciting again.

I hope this bible verse is the last thing you need to be motivated to get excited tomorrow and never worry:

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
-John 14:27

Remember you have a purpose and you are needed. Go forth and do big things. Start with tomorrow.

P.s. Hoping I wake up and I'm Regina George for the day.

Another side note: If any of you have YouVersion of the bible on your phone/tablet. I just started Louie Giglio's "Goliath Must Fall" 7-day reading plan/devotional. It talks about the giants that we must face in life and how to overcome them. This week, I'm going to start a blog post about today's reading and would love to hear from y'all.
